i live next to the railway. a few years ago a new track was laid, and we had to get a wider bridge to pass the line. I believe it must be the ugliest bridge ever built

Dreadful! I lived for 13 years near a rail road...after a few months you don't hear the noise anymore! But the chaotic metal sight was always visual stress.
